Aims of NSS
- To evoke patriotism and the spirit of community service among the youth.
- To create Literacy Awareness among the rural women.
- To reiterate the importance of social work in the minds of young people.
- Creating an eco-friendly atmosphere.
Red Ribbon Club (RRC)
Soka Ikeda College for women in its milestone of development has added a new feather to its cap by inaugurating the Red Ribbon Club in the college to combat the social evil – HIV/AIDS.
Under the able guidance of the college Principal and the RRC program officer, 100 students were enrolled as the volunteers of Red Ribbon Club.
Youth Red Cross
YRC organizes relief and assistance without discrimination to the victims of armed conflicts, endeavors to mitigate and alleviate the human sufferings, whenever and wherever the naturals / manmade disasters cripple the society, and works to ensure respect and dignity for human beings.
Under the able guidance of the college Principal and the YRC program officer, 100 students were enrolled as the volunteers of Youth Red Cross.
