Welcome to the Kaneko library!

Library is the knowledge treasure. The Kaneko library has wonderful collections in the form of Books, Journals, Magazines, Dailies, online Databases, E- Journals, Projects, etc. It has around 11,780 Books, 29 National & International periodicals to enrich and gain knowledge to the user community.

The Library runs on SAFELIB (Automation Software) Software of LMS ie, Library Management System.

RULES & REGULATIONS


  • Library users must maintain silence inside the library
  • All users should wear college ID and enter their details in the library gate register
  • All bags and own books must be left outside the library
  • Library staff shall not take any responsibility for the loss of personal property inside the library
  • Users are required to show their items to the library staff before leaving library
  • Don’t mark, deface or mutilate the books; if done, fine will be collected
  • Users are not allowed to eat, sleep or discuss inside the library. If there is a necessary to discuss about subject, noise must be kept to a minimum

PENALITY/DAMAGE/LOSS OF LIBRARY BOOKS

  • Overdue fine amount Rs 2.00 per day
  • Marking in the library books with pencil or ink, tearing pages or spoiling the same in any way will be viewed very seriously. In such cases the user should replaced the book with a new one
  • Lost books must be reported to the librarian immediately and it should be replaced or paid for within 30 days.
  • When books are issued, students should check the pages of the issued books; if pages are damaged or missing they should report to the librarian before leaving the library. On returning the books , if pages are missing , then the last borrower of the book shall be held accountable for the missing pages and will liable to be fine accordingly

MEMBERSHIP


  • Borrowing period is between interval, lunch break and after college hours in all weekdays.
  • All students must present their ID before borrowing the books
  • Students are not allowed to borrow books on behalf of others or transfer borrowed materials to other students.
